Waterloo man charged with harassment, criminal mischief after incident
The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a Waterloo man following a disturbance at a local residence. Kevin Erb, 33, of Waterloo is accused of engaging in a dispute with another person. While leaving the residence, he intentionally broke off a vehicle’s side view mirror. Seneca Nursing & Rehab employee confirmed to have COVID-19; Health Dept. says not a Seneca County resident
The Seneca County Health Department was notified on Monday that an employee of Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Waterloo has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee is not a Seneca County resident and is currently in isolation and being monitored by their local health department. According to Vickie Swinehart, Director of Seneca County Health Department, Staff and residents are being monitored for symptoms and Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s administrators are taking all the necessary precautions. Swinehart added, “These precautions include screening all staff when they report to work and excluding staff member who are ill.” more -
Serious crash reported at Rt. 96, County House Road intersection in Seneca County
First responders in Seneca County were called to a serious two car crash at the intersection of State Route 96 and County House Road. Multiple ambulances were requested to the scene, as well as LifeNet helicopter. The Waterloo Fire Department responded to the scene. Motorists should avoid the area for the time being. Deputies: Felony drug arrests made after traffic stop in Waterloo

Geneva outlasts Waterloo to claim sectional title
The Geneva Panthers outlasted the Waterloo Indians 60-55 at the Blue Cross Arena on Saturday morning to win their second sectional title in the last six years.
